Social Listening: Crumble Cookie

    Although a recent company,  Crumble Cookie  has soared in popularity over the last few years. A big portion of this popularity is due to their massive presence on social media. With accounts on Instagram, Tik Tok, Twitter, Facebook and other platforms, they are constantly putting out content about their new weekly cookies. Crumble Cookie seems to have surrounded their product with different techniques of marketing. With having a straight forward product, like a cookie, there needs to be a certain angle at which to go about selling it. Crumble has taking the angle of being content driven, and it seems at times that their cookie is just a by product you get when you indulge in the experience of the business. Crumble has a weekly rotation of four cookies with an addition of two that are always up for sale. Marketing in the News: Touch Card

         I stumbled upon an ad called "Spotlight" while watching YouTube. It immediately caught my attention in the way it was both narrated and shot. This led me to explore further into these Touch Card products, which are a line of debit, credit, and prepaid cards that have specifically shaped notches on the side which indicates what type of card it is. Now for many people choosing what card to pay for a coffee with is an easy thing to do, but visually impaired people have to rely on other senses to distinguish between their payment options. In an  article  highlighting these products, it explains how the now seamless and modern cards make it more difficult for visually challenged people to tell what they're paying with. Hello all! My name is Eli Wimmer, this is my second term here at Linn-Benton and I plan to transfer to OSU next fall to major in Design and Innovation Management. I am most interested in photography. I've been indulging in every aspect of it, whether it's; landscapes, wild life, portraits, studio photography, and even film photography. What ever the sub genre is I want to learn as much as I can about it so I can hopefully turn my passion into a career. Choosing a major that supported my photography was difficult. Becoming a freelance photographer nowadays isn't so stable and it's not the route I want to take. Recently I decided to get a degree revolving around marketing and advertisement as I think this is a great area where I can connect my creative passion to a more stable degree.
